If You Don’t Believe in God, Eventually You Have to Get Off His Couch

Sometimes people say, “I’m a good person, so won’t God let me into heaven even if I didn’t believe in him?” Well, how long would you let someone live in your house and use all your stuff if that person didn’t acknowledge your existence at all? This video talks about why you need to acknowledge God and make the decision to be part of his family. If you aren’t part of the family, you don’t get to stay. Eventually you’ll have to get off God’s couch.

  1. I’ve never actually heard anyone say anything that foolish! Have you? Really??! Generally, if someone truly doesn’t believe in God, then they don’t believe in Heaven, and don’t expect to go there. 😳

    1. Hi! Thanks for your comment. Believe it or not, I talk to LOTS of people who think this way. You are right that it is foolish. It is illogical. If you don’t believe in God, why even consider the existence of heaven? I think the truth is that deep inside they know God exists, they just don’t want him telling them to stop sinning. They think that God will pardon their ignorance, and let them into heaven because they have a good heart. I do believe God is merciful toward human ignorance, but there is a difference when it is intentional ignorance. Thanks again.
